The holidays can conjure up so many feelings-
excitement AND fear
joy AND frustration
connectedness AND loneliness.
We can experience two feelings at the same time.
What is your intention this holiday week?
Is it to stay mindful and present during crazy family get-togethers?
What about staying attuned to hunger and satisfaction signals during eating experiences?
My 2011 Holiday Intention is to breathe in calm, and breathe out worry. I think breath will help me with all the above situations. If I don’t have breath, there is little hope of staying mindful and attuned during mealtimes & connection times.
